Privacy Policy

CalQuest is a gamified nutrition, fitness, and habit-tracking app. This policy explains the information CalQuest handles and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

CalQuest may collect account information such as your email address and profile name; profile details such as age, height, weight, sex, activity level, goals, and preferred units; nutrition information such as foods, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and fiber; training information such as exercises, sets, repetitions, and weight; and your in-app progress, rewards, hero, and village data.

How information is used

This information is used to create your account, estimate and personalize targets, display progress, power game features, sync your saved game when you use an account, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support requests.

Food search and third-party services

CalQuest may use Supabase for authentication and cloud saves, USDA FoodData Central for food search, and Open Food Facts for barcode and product information. A food query or barcode may be sent to the relevant service when you use those features. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Data sharing

CalQuest does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate app features, comply with law, protect users, or investigate misuse.

Storage, retention, and security

Some data is stored on your device. Account and cloud-save data may be stored by CalQuest's service providers. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Data is retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Your choices

You can choose what health and fitness information to enter. You may sign out at any time. To permanently delete your CalQuest account and associated cloud data, open My Hero, choose Hero Stats, and tap Delete Account. For access or correction requests, use the CalQuest support form.

Children

CalQuest is not intended for children under 13. Users under 18 should use CalQuest with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
